10:11 pm - The Voice
I just finished watching The Voice and I'm utterly stunned. I think Christina is nuts and just threw away her only real chance to win this thing. The one she eliminated is the ONLY one on her team I'd have voted for.

I... can't even - just can't comprehend. And the shock on Adam Levine's face when he heard her choice... Wow.

Jordis was my favorite coming in to the show, but Jesse was my clear frontrunner from his blind audition on. I am so shocked by her cutting him that I don't have any emotion left to spare for Jordis. :(

I know! I don't know what was going through her head. It's just unbelievable!

When you have all three other judges saying 'this guy is the one to beat' and you cut him? Wow.

All I can think is that Christina was really calculating this thing out. Like, I think she has her top 2 in mind (Lindsay, for sure, and probably Ashley, whom she loves) and she figures America would have easily saved Jesse so it was safer to cut him before the vote so that she has a shot of taking her chosen artists to the final eight? I don't know. That's all I can work out.

Could be, but I don't think either of those two have a good chance of winning - not as good as Jesse did, anyway. But yeah, I can see that being her thought process. Still ridiculous.

Getting rid of your best competitor doesn't make your team stronger.

She's been fairly unpleasant this season, though, IMO. Lots of little catty/nasty comments which really make me uncomfortable - as opposed to the more teasing style of the other judges.

I'm totally behind on this show and have no idea who's left, but I definitely thought Jesse had a shot to win the whole thing.
